Whaddya think of the new place?

Hey there!

So we’ve done a little redecorating, a little re-organizing.  We hope you notice.  We hope you like it.

The website ain’t the only thing that’s changed: we’ve now got a subscription service which will open a deluge of awesome small press stuff into your mailbox, and the Super Sexy Book Sale!  For the whole month of September, you can get any two Ampersand Books for $17, including shipping.

Our accountant tells us we’re lousy businesspeople.

We tell him we’re awesome people.

Have a look around and ignore the dour accountant in the corner.  Grab a beer and make yourself at home.

Welcome to the all-new Ampersand.

Adam Gallari!

Adam is the author of Ampersand Books’ first short story collection, We Are Never as Beautiful As We Are Now.  His sensitive, insightful stories have been published in anderbo.com, Fifth Wednesday, and The always-awesome Ampersand Review.  Check out this review at The Rumpus!

& Shellie Zacharia!

Shellie Zacharia’s stories are subtle blend of sincerity and quirkiness, of characters puzzled and hurt by a world they don’t understand, but who haven’t given up on daydreams and humour.  These short stories and flash fictions have appeared in Hobart, Opium, Keyhole Magazine, Canteen, The Pinch, Washington Square, Beloit Fiction, and many others, including St. Pete’s local Studio Quarterly. Her first book, Now Playing, is available from Keyhole Press. She lives in Gainesville, Florida.

Special thanks to The St. Pete Pier, The City of St. Pete, and our official bookstore partner, Books at Park Place.
